How Veyara works

A quick guide to getting set up and using Veyara every day.

1. Create your account

  1. Go to veyara.co/signin and enter your work email.
  2. Check your inbox for a 6-digit code (it expires in 10 minutes) and enter it.
  3. Add your name and company. Your workspace is created empty and private to you.

There is no password. Each time you sign in on a new device, Veyara emails you a fresh code. You stay signed in on that browser for 30 days unless you sign out.

2. Talk to Veyara

  • Hold Space anywhere outside a text box, or hold the microphone button, and speak. Let go when you're done.
  • Turn on Hey Veyara at the top of the screen to start a request just by saying “Veyara…”.
  • Prefer typing? Use the Ask Veyara bar at the top of every page.

Voice and live captions work in Chrome, Edge or Safari. The first time, your browser asks for microphone permission. Veyara understands requests in English today.

3. Run a meeting

  1. Open Meetings and click Start meeting. Allow your camera and microphone when the browser asks.
  2. Click Invite to copy your guest link and send it to the people you're meeting. Guests type their name (and, if they like, their email for the recap) and join with video and audio in their browser. No account, no download.
  3. Use Mute, Camera and Share screen as you would in any video call.
  4. Click Record to keep a transcript and show live captions. Everyone in the meeting sees that it's being recorded. On Pro and Business, click Translate and each person reads captions in the language they chose (English or Spanish).
  5. Click Show file to offer one of your uploaded files to everyone. Each guest chooses Accept or Not now, and can view it but not download it.
  6. Click End meeting. If it was recorded, Veyara writes the recap from the transcript: a summary, decisions, and follow-ups that land in Tasks.

Video and audio go directly between the browsers in the meeting, which works best for small meetings of up to about four people. A few strict office networks block direct connections; if someone can't connect, try another network.

4. Review and approve

Veyara prepares; you decide. Emails, invites and file shares appear in the Action Center as drafts. Open one to read exactly what will be sent, edit it, then approve or cancel. Nothing external goes out without your approval, and every action is recorded in the activity log.

After a meeting, click Email the recap. Veyara drafts it to the guests who left their email; you read it, edit it if you like, and approve it. It's sent from Veyara with replies going to your own inbox. Connecting Gmail, Outlook, calendars and file storage comes later.

5. Bring in context from any web page (Chrome extension)

The Veyara extension for Chrome is in review with the Chrome Web Store. Once it's available, select text on any page, right-click and choose Veyara:

  • Start a meeting with this: opens Meetings with the text pinned privately for you.
  • Invite to a meeting: opens Meetings with the guest link ready to copy.
  • Ask Veyara about this: opens Veyara with the text beside you.

The text you select stays private to you. Veyara only reads it when you choose one of these items, and you can remove it at any time.

6. Files

Upload files on the Files page (up to 8 MB each) to show them in meetings. PDFs, pictures and text files open right in the browser. On Pro and Business, short text files (.txt, .md, .csv) can be translated into English or Spanish; the translation is saved as a new file next to the original.

7. Settings

In Settings you can choose Veyara's voice and language, set approval policies, see security and access information, and manage what Veyara remembers about how you work.
